ABC ‘General Hospital’ GH) spoilers indicate that despite some of the claims that have been made, no, Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) won’t be meeting her fate anytime soon. As a matter of fact, things are going to escalate to an all-time high between Nelle and her nemesis Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), as both are refusing to back down as the battle for Baby Wiley continues to heat up. There’s no denying that Carly and Nelle have always had a sketchy history and the two ladies don’t trust each other like they don’t trust the weatherman saying that there’s sunshine on a rainy day. The battle lines have been drawn and both women refuse to lose this fight.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Here’s What To Expect From Carly And Nelle When GH Is Back!
In a new interview with TV Insider, Laura Wright says that even though Nelle recently told Carly that she wanted her forgiveness, it might have appeared as though Carly was not affected by this. But according to actress Laura Wright, her character was dealing with a volcanic explosion of emotions from within, but just didn’t want to show Nelle that she’s someone who could be easily manipulated.
The actress told the site, “First, Chloe really knocked it out of the park. The material was so well-written. We showed up and threw down. Chloe brought Nelle to such a vulnerable place. Carly had to be affected. When Nelle said, ‘You left me,’ that affected Carly. I said to Frank [Valentini, executive producer] later, ‘This changes everything with Carly and Nelle.’”
Laura further explained, “It’s not like Carly is going to forgive Nelle for all the things she’s done, but this does take it to a deeper level. Nelle let her wall down and she may now come back fighting even harder. That’s what can happen when we show our vulnerability and we don’t get the result that we want.” With that said, we have a feeling that the fight between Carly and Nelle is not over yet. In fact, both ladies might be getting ready for Round 2~
