NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal there’s a lot of jealousy in the air right now. We think this will have severe consequences for one character. As for the other? Well, she might just pile on the reasons to leave town. Here’s what you need to know.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Self-fulfilling prophecy?
First of all, let’s talk about Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth). We know we’ve said that Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) are the end game. However, we think Justin himself will be a big reason for the reunion. He’s brought up his insecurities numerous times. His latest was questioning Kayla calling Steve the love of her life. As she’s done every time, Kayla explained her reasons for saying that, and pointed out that Justin would consider Adrienne Johnson (Judi Evans) his. Her statement had this undertone of frustration, as if she’s tired of hearing this over and over. We can understand why.
Honestly, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal he’s likely to push her away with this attitude. We couldn’t blame her. As much as we think Justin’s a nice guy and want to see him get a happy ending, he’s acting like an insecure kid sometimes. Not a good look on a grown man who is still somewhat mourning his own lost love. It’s almost hypocritical, when you think about it. He was ready to kill Orpheus (George DelHoyo) with his bare hands when he learned the villain was behind Adrienne’s death. We think it’s time for both to admit they’re in a rebound relationship and not put pressure on this.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Suspicions
Meanwhile, we watched Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) walk in on a moment easy to misconstrue. Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) had hugged Zoey Burge (Alyshia Ochse) after she got some news about her brother. When Hope learned he and Zoey were a team right now, she objected. We don’t blame her. The story Zoey told is a bit suspect, and Hope would be pretty stupid not to see that. However, we think there’s a little jealousy fueling her response. It’s clear she’s still not over Rafe, no matter their bad ending. This time, it might end up being a good thing. Rafe already had doubts of his own before, so this will keep him on guard. Since Zoey lied about speaking to her father, she’s clearly still under his influence to a degree.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: What we loved
There was one moment that really stood out during the scene where Hope calls Zoey into question. When she asked if there were any witnesses to David’s latest kidnapping, she responded with something along the lines of, “Tons. I had the neighbors over for cake.” Gotta love soap one-liners.
