ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate the end of the 2014 Nurses Ball brought some great moments. From a father’s annoyance to a cute moment from Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel), we got to see a little more of the original in action. But This also had a disappointment. Let’s look at these highlights before the 2015 gala begins tomorrow.

ABC 'General Hospital' Spoilers: Part 2 of the 2014 Nurses Ball reveals patterns

ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Change in plans

First of all, let’s talk about Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring). We love her. And the poor girl is even better when she’s having some unforeseen issues on stage. Today, it focused on something that was a big disappointment for us. However, it turned into a highlight funny moment.

See, Blackie Parrish (John Stamos) was supposed to be part of the ball that year. Lucy proudly introduced him, but things quickly went wrong. She ended up having to beg for patience because he apparently ad a scheduling conflict. We would’ve loved to see him in action. However, it was funny to see Lucy in a bit of a panic and doing her best to make the show go on. This led her to have to juggle things, which leads to a highlight/theme…

ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sensing a theme

The replacement act ended up being Brad Cooper (Parry Shen), who did a Karmin song called “Broken Hearted”. And if you haven’t heard this duo at work, check them out! Especially their covers. They put a unique spin on each one they do while keeping the spirit of the original. Anyway, this performance was a bit of a desperate move to get Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) feeling bad for him. It turned into a thing, as Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) also tried to get Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) back, while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) also tried to get Olivia Falconeri’s (Lisa LoCicero) forgiveness. Seriously. What is up with 2014 Port Charles? Everyone’s messed up big. But the best one was Spencer.

ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Serenades and confusion

In a cute, and possibly the most elaborate plot, Spencer got his grandma Lesley Webber (Denise Alexander) to call in a favor. This led to a special appearance by Player, performing their song, “Baby, Come Back”. He actually crashed Emma Scorpio-Drake (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) and Cameron Webber’s (William Lipton) performance with this stunt. Later on, he actually got on his knees and repeated some of the lyrics in a dramatic plea.

Even better was Nikolas’ defeated/shocked reaction to Spencer pulling such a stunt. He later went on about how he couldn’t believe Spencer did that and wondered how he pulled it off. We suspect things got a little heated for Spencer at Wyndemere that night. He seemed shocked and somewhat irritated enough to punish the kid.

    ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Death

Finally, we have Mac Scorpio (John J. York). General Hospital spoilers indicate he apparently did a regular act at the ball and wanted to step in this year as well. His act with a dummy was painful, but Epiphany Johnson’s (Sonya Eddy) reaction was classic. She jumped up on stage and lost it, destroying the dummy to thunderous applause. She even had one attendee wanting to shake her hand. We just can’t with the idea he did this year after year as everyone else wanted the pain to end. Even better was poor Mac’s mourning of his friend and disbelief everyone cheered. And the brief worry/horror that Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) was one of them. By her face, we think she was.
