CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that fans have made it clear: they miss seeing Gina Tognoni on the small screen. The actress, who was once best known for her role as Phyllis Summers on the hit CBS soap, was suddenly replaced by actress Michelle Stafford back in June of 2019. Even though Michelle originally had the role before Gina took over in 2013, a lot of Y&R fans have been checking up on her recently while also letting her know that she has been sorely missed in front of the cameras. Gina has been keeping very active on her Instagram account while checking in on fans and making sure that they are both safe and healthy during this global pandemic that is the coronavirus (Covid-19). And while many have said that they are spending their time in coronavirus quarantine catching up on old episodes of ‘Young and the Restless’, many have expressed their hope of seeing Gina back on the canvas.

Quite a few of Gina’s fans have commented on her social media posts with, “You brought a uniqueness to the Phyllis that all current and previous ones lacked, you’re really missed on Y&R,” along with, “Awww hi Gina you look so stunning. I hope you are hanging in there during this time I really miss you on our TV’s so much stay safe and well.” Another fan wrote, “Your fans love you Gina. You were the best Phyllis on ‘Young and the Restless’. If you had just smoked a cigar in character!! Hope you get on primetime soon as you have so much talent to share.
