On April 27, he made a full statement on Instagram that he would be taking a much needed mental health break from his social media account. Many fans were sad to see him go, but when we look at the last few episodes of the show, we think that he was probably receiving a lot of hate mail and needed to leave these trolls alone. Avery Warner, his girlfriend, spoke out about how she feels about his hiatus from social media.

Avery wanted to tell their fans that sometimes, social media takes a lot out of a person, especially when there are many trolls who post nothing but hate. “I do feel bad for him, a lot of people are haters, and sometimes it can be a lot to take in. I think he just needed time while the show airs to keep his head in a positive space.”

Ash made his social media break announcement after the April 19 episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. On that episode, Avery confronted him about his job and all of the women that text him on a daily basis. He slipped and told her that he was “single right now”, and that really got fans angry with him. This could have ignited the flame of haters and it could be the main cause of the break from social media. Avery said of this moment, “I really hope that seeing Ash with his clients gives me a little bit more reassurance that his intentions are in the right place when it comes to working with single women.”
After Avery sat in on his seminar, she spoke out on Instagram about it too. “He had done a couple of seminars, but everything we do is a learning experience and we aren’t going to be perfect from the get-go. I don’t believe he is sexist, all I wanted was for him to understand that making blanket statements creates segregation and separation.”
