CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that good news could be on the horizon for Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). Tomorrow she’s going for a scan that will tell her if the cancer is shrinking or if she’ll have to continue to the next stage, which is surgery. This has gotten her quite worked up as you can imagine, and we don’t blame her. Will she get good news or is this just the beginning of her fight?

While sitting on the couch with Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), he asked her a series of questions about what she wanted to do. Sharon got a little anxious and snapped at him before immediately apologizing. The scan tomorrow has gotten her worked up, and to make things even “worse”, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) comes through the door.

Normally this would be delightful news for Sharon, however, she is probably upset that Mariah left Tessa Porter’s tour to come home for this. However, she knows she returned home just because of her scan tomorrow. Sharon is grateful to have them cheer her on, but she feels like she wants to do this herself.

The night before, she talks to Mariah while Rey visits Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) to talk. Mariah asks why Sharon’s so afraid. Sharon breaks down and admits she’s terrified that the cancer hasn’t gone down and she’ll have to have surgery. She’s afraid and though she’s trying to stay positive can’t stop thinking about it. It’s a tough time for Sharon, but I’m not sure she should go about this alone. She’s had them by her side the whole time, is finding out this news by herself really the right way to go? What do you think? Should Rey and Mariah for with Sharon tomorrow? Let us know in the comments below.
