CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) fired back at Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and had her construction on her new hotel halted. Phyllis filed some complaints and got the city inspector to shut down the construction because of permits and breaking city ordinances. Abby argues that her lawyers and construction crew had everything all taken care of. Ah, Phyllis, you sneaky bee.
I can’t stand Phyllis as much as the next person, but man, Abby has a really tough time dealing with this. She can dish it, but can’t take it as they say. She was fine and happy while tormenting Phyllis, but as soon as it’s turned around, Abby breaks down.

With that said, it looks like we won’t be seeing a new hotel in Genoa City, at least for a while. Abby can continue construction eventually, but it’ll probably take a few months to go back through everything. However Phyllis did, she did it well. I didn’t really expect to see a new set on the show anyway but I am kind of surprised that Abby’s hotel is on the backburner now.
It looks like the war will turn back on The Grand Phoenix, and Abby attempting to acquire it back. Bringing in the new hotel is an interesting idea, but we probably would never see it to be honest. Besides, Abby put so much work into this one, it’ll be more satisfying to see her win it back. Will Abby try to win The Grand Phoenix back now, or will she keep fighting to get her new hotel built?
