ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate that star Chloe Lanier (Nelle Benson) is concerned that she might have the coronavirus, as she has been experiencing symptoms since last weekend. Here’s what she has to say.

Sharing a photo of herself on her Instagram story, the actress wrote, “On Saturday, the first day of my quarantine, I developed a mild cough that eventually turned into a runny nose and fever. Aches and chills then made their way into the picture. Called my doctor. Had a Skype appt with them and they said because I didn’t hit all the symptoms laid out by the CDC, they could not test me. Then last night came the chest pain and shortness of breath. I went to the ER today where they again refused to test me because I am young and there are very few tests to go around.”

If that weren’t enough, Chloe goes on to say that her doctor assumed that she had coronavirus, but because she couldn’t get tested, they don’t know for sure. Instead, her doctor just told her that because of her age and overall health, she should just continue to self isolate.

Chloe continued, “I am saddened because there are countless people who are being turned away from getting turned away from tests that could be infecting others who are more vulnerable. I hope this changes. I hope more tests become available in this country – and not only for the 1 percent. We need to take care of one another. I love you all. I am going to binge on a few shows, read, and rest up. Please stay inside and don’t take this situation lightly.”

As Chloe said, the best thing to do right now is to self-isolate and practice social distancing as much as possible or until at least this outbreak subsides. Unfortunately though, it might take some time before that happens. So far no other members of the ‘General Hospital’ cast have said anything about the coronavirus or if they too are experiencing symptoms.
