One of the couples is from Mississippi and they wanted to share their experience with fans of the show and the network. TLC ‘Say Yes To The Dress’ America: Getting Married Doesn’t Have to Be Stressful
On ‘Say Yes to the Dress’ America, couples from all over the country will seek out the dress of their dreams. One of these couples is Jonathan Flippo and Madelon Flippo. They were one of the couples selected and they are from Mississippi. The show will follow them on their wedding journey and there will be a huge ceremony on March 14th. These two met in 2017 and were engaged shortly after. Jonathan had a big surprise for Madelon too.
TLC ‘Say Yes To The Dress’ America: Mississippi Couple Shares Experience
When Jonathan proposed to Madelon, they also found out that they had been selected as a couple on ‘Say Yes to the Dress’ America! They were incredibly excited about being a big part of the TLC show! Not only would Madelon get to choose from gorgeous dresses, but the couple would also get a trip to New York and they would receive the cake of their dreams from Cake Boss star, Buddy Valastro! This was the deal of a lifetime for the Flippos!
At first, the couple thought there was no way this could be true! Their mothers thought it was a scam, but when the couple got flown out to New York, they were all sure that it was the real thing. When she got to Kleinfeld to pick out a dress she said, “Stepping in the doors of Kleinfeld, I just felt really overwhelmed with emotions. I felt like I was dreaming. Even though I was there and I could touch the store, touch walls and stuff, I just didn’t believe it was true.” Madelon was thrilled to be there!
The brides on the show were told that the cost is no object and that really made Madelon excited! As she was shopping, she saw many dresses that she liked, but the one she picked out even made her mother cry! Flippo said that every part of this experience has been amazing! Jonathan and Madelon are incredibly happy with the show and how the producers treated the couples. They said that the ceremony was amazing and they felt like they were all a big part of the TLC family!
