However, that thought process was shattered this week when Bobby was left disheartened when he heard Ian telling Sharon that he isn’t sure how he could ever love his son again.
Ian was left heartbroken a few years ago when Bobby killed his sister, and this has led to their relationship being strained. However, there could be dramatic scenes on the horizon as Bobby overheard the entire conversation that Ian and Sharon had.

The scenes that will air on Friday nights episode will see how Ian will be forced to make things right with his son. Ian isn’t sure whether he should to begin with, but Kathy forces his arm and admitted that people would look at him differently if he didn’t try and make amends with his son.
Ian is left wondering about what to say to Bobby when he learns of a post going around on social media. The post was made by Jack, and Ian was quick to demand what was going on from Bobby. However, any hopes that they were about to make up were quickly dashed, when Bobby learns that Ian wasn’t there to talk about their relationship.

Their relationship is now at an all-time low, and Bobby has lost all respect for his father. Ian still has hopes that they can make amends, but has he realistically lost any chance of making amends with his son? Fans will have to continue watching the soap this week to find out what happens.
Meanwhile, there is set to be more drama in Walford next week as the show celebrates its 35th anniversary. The main story will centre around Sharon, which means Bobby and Ian may yet be involved in that story. It is set to be an explosive week on EastEnders next week.
