It’s only another week away now until the EastEnders 35th anniversary special, and the biggest rumour to come out this week has pinpointed that Keanu could be about to kidnap Callum Highway. This twisted revenge plot will be centred around Keanu’s plan to get back at Phil Mitchell.
The scenes are due to air next week, with Keanu demanding £100,000 as a ransom for Callum to be returned safely. However, fans are already fearing that there could be more to Keanu’s plan than just the money. He already has his eyes set on a reunion with Sharon Mitchell, as she is due to give birth to his baby soon.

Keanu was forced to leave Walford on Christmas Day after his death was ordered by Phil after learning that he had an affair with his wife. However, instead of killing Keanu himself, Ben passed the responsibility to Martin Fowler. Instead of pulling the trigger, he let Keanu run free.
Keanu returned to Walford last week to shock Sharon. He told her that they need to run away together so that the baby can grow up safe. She was taken aback by his suggestion and asked for some time to think things over. Keanu accepted that, and then went off to make amends with Ben.

The EastEnders villain decided that the only way that he could get even with Ben was by hitting him where it really hurt and that centres around his love interest Callum. Ben is shocked when he learns that Callum didn’t make it to his police assessment day, and he rushes home to see if his boyfriend is okay.
He gets back through the front door and finds Keanu. Ben demands to see that he hasn’t harmed Callum. Keanu reacted by stating that he needs to give him £100,000 to get his boyfriend back. It isn’t clear yet whether Keanu will kill Callum regardless. However, he may just be after the money so he can run away with Sharon. Viewers will find out how this plays out next week.
