Coronation Street Spoilers finds that relationships on the Coronation Street cobbles have always made for compelling stories, but it has been teased that we could see two of the oldest characters on the street have an affair. Ken Barlow (William Roache) has been a serial womaniser throughout his time on the cobbles, but it had seemed that he would finally have a happy ending to his love life with Claudia Colby (Rula Lenska).
However, Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) could soon get involved in their relationship by getting romantic with Ken. Sue, who plays Audrey, teased the possibility of this happening recently, and said that it would fit in perfectly with the love-hate relationship between her character, and Claudia.

The two legendary characters have been on the soap for the most amount of time, but they have never previously got together romantically. That is despite the fact that they have both had their fair share of love interests. However, it would seem that it could be about to change during the upcoming 10,000th episode on Friday night.
In that episode, both Audrey and Ken will travel to Blackpool with Rita Sullivan (Barbara Knox) so that she can spread the ashes of her recently departed ex-husband. The episode on Friday is likely to be classic Corrie, with a host of secrets set to surface during the road trip, which is inevitably going to go wrong.

It has been teased that the two characters could have always been in love, but have never been able to explore these feelings due to being in a relationship. But, the coach journey could change all that, and it could give Audrey revenge on Claudia for all the times that she has belittled her.
It has recently been teased that Claudia and Ken’s relationship could be hitting the buffers, and that could be potentially down to his feelings for Audrey.
