CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal Hunter King (Summer Newman) has gotten a role at ABC for a new pilot comedy series! She’ll be playing Abigail Lansing in a new ABC comedy Prospect, first reported by Deadline. Abigail is a proper, smart, but always positive, and friendly! She comes from Boston to teach in the western town of Prospect.
Upon arriving to teach children, she suddenly realizes she’ll be teaching adult makes. Also, where’s she’s still saying is not what she was expecting. Even though this isn’t what she expected, she decides there’s work to be done here in Prospect.

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Hunter King (Summer Newman) Lands ABC Role On Pilot ‘Prospect’
The single-camera comedy pilot is from I Hate My Teenage Daughter creators Sherry Bilsing-Graham and Ellen Kreamer, director-producer Randall Einhorn. As well as ABC. This isn’t the first time Hunter King has appeared on television aside from ‘The Young and the Restless.’ She appeared on CBS’ Life In Pieces for four seasons. The show starred Colin Hanks and told the story of the Short family. King expressed her excitement on Instagram, sharing a screengrab of a Deadline article discussing her upcoming show. She captioned it, “Someone pinch me because I can’t believe this is real! I feel like the luckiest girl in the world right now. I’m so unbelievably excited to be a part of this amazing pilot. Thank you thank you to everyone who helped make this happen! And thank you to everyone at ABC!”
She asks someone to pinch her. Don’t worry Hunter! You’re not dreaming and we can’t wait to see your new series on ABC! Everyone was excited to comment on her post and also reassure her that she’s not dreaming. We’re all very excited and wish Hunter King the best on her new series!
