CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) could be leaving. This has left viewers wondering if he’ll be gone for good or if this will come back around soon. Some are glad he’s leaving and letting Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) not deal with him. While others are yelling for Victoria to bring him back. Is this a cry for help from Billy, or is he in his right mind?
In a preview clip from January, 24 on YouTube, we see Billy speaking to Victoria and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) about his problems. His biggest problem is taking his issues to Amanda rather than Victoria. Amanda even acknowledges this to him, but he has trouble taking the hint. It’s a whirlwind of emotion as in the clip Billy tells Victoria, “All I wanted more than anything was to make you happy.” Victoria still wants and begs him to get help though. Billy is not set on changing, implying he can’t be someone he’s not.

He tries to tell Amanda that what they’re doing isn’t wrong. He thinks they’re just talking, but are they? Amanda tells him, “there are all kinds of infidelities.” Most people know and understand this concept. Though, Billy seems to have a tough time understanding this.
He’s packed up his bags and is leaving now, but where will he go? Is he going to stay with friends or family or start life anew? I seem to think he’ll be back, very soon. Of course, fans are unsure. Some are excited to see him go. One viewer commented on the preview clip, “Billy is a mess. Victoria had two children doesn’t need a third name Billy, this is the best for both on them.” While others are a bit more on Billy’s side, saying “Can’t she see her husband is crying out for help?”. Whether you’re a Billy fan or not, seeing someone potentially leaving the show is always upsetting.
