Well, apparently the team behind the show is more than aware of this. Showrunner Frank Valentini even spoke about it at an event recently. So what is up with that unusual piece of décor? Here’s what you need to know.

    The bowl in question is one that has some big green stuff growing in it. People have commented on how odd it is. We’ve even seen a meme or two referring to this off the decoration. While we probably wouldn’t have picked it ourselves, we have to go on record as thinking it’s kind of neat looking. So how did it end up there?

    Valentini addressed the issue at a recent event. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate the cast stays busy traveling to various gatherings. The one we’re talking about was Graceland. He took the opportunity to explain the choice to use that bowl wasn’t his. The set designer picked it, as it’s apparently a thing people do. He was surprised by that as well. But, as he pointed out, a bowl of apples doesn’t seem fitting for the Corinthos home. We’ve got to agree. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard), “humble coffee importer”, needs something special, and we’re pretty sure Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) feels the same way. She’s not really one to conform. So, what does it mean to have this bowl of moss on set?

    During the talk, Valentini joked about how the thing just started growing. It seems it got a bit out of hand fast because he had to get people to take care of it onset. He made sure to point out cutting the moss is one of the stranger requests he has to make as head of the show. Who knew one random choice that’s so small end up being a big topic of conversation? We, for one, hope it doesn’t go anywhere.

    In related news, if you didn’t get to go to the Graceland event, you’re not out of luck. There’s plenty of events on the horizon. In fact, several of the stars have been retweeting these announcements, as well as posting about their excitement. The next will be The Fourth Annual ‘General Hospital’ Convention, which will take place on May 29-31, 2020 at Los Angeles Mariott Burbank Airport. Fans will be needing all the GH fun they can get. It seems ABC still has no plan in place to keep fans on track with happenings in Port Charles while Daytime TV is held hostage. As the real-life drama continues to take over timeslots, while ABC and the PTB at GH reconsider this waiting strategy? We’ll have to wait and see.
