‘The Young and the Restless’ spoilers update for Wednesday, December 25th, 2019 indicate that Detective Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) will be back on the scene again as well as Christine Williams (Lauralee Belle) They will also be joined by Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) and they are all getting together for a holiday double date! Whether it be a lunch date or the early bird special, we don’t know but it will be good to see them all together again. Looks like this may also involve the return of Fenmore ‘Fen’ Baldwin (Zach Tinker) since he is slated to return this week. Either way Lauren will definitely be pleasantly surprised and his newfound recovery will definitely impress both Lauren and Michael, he’ll be all about relaxing and spending the holiday with the fam.

He’s not the only one who will be returning. Little Faith Newman Alyvia Alyn Lind) will be returning from boarding school much to the delight of Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and she will have much to tell them about her boarding school escapades.

Looks like Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will reluctantly extend an invitation to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) for the Christmas party at Chelsea Newman’s (Melissa Claire Egan) insistence so chances are she’ll pass along the message. Adam may push for it just to be him, Chelsea, and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) but there is a good chance Chelsea won’t go for that. After all, the holidays is a time for family, no matter how much you can’t stand them.

Still, in spite of Nick’s best efforts, Adam will try and one-up him by getting Chelsea a really thoughtful gift but no word on what that is yet. How is Chelsea going to react and what kind of reaction is Nick going to have when he finds out that Adam really came through for Christmas? Will there be a good old fashion Newman family battle?
