‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) Spoilers is saying you are pretty sure that all of you are asking the same thing that I am right now of Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and wondering just what on earth it will take to make him see that his son, Thomas Forrester, does not have the best of intentions at heart? I mean, Thomas has done the most as far as I’m concerned, to get his Dad to turn against him. All the baby swap mess aside he has basically put his long-time marriage to Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) into the toilet! Because he wanted to teach Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) a lesson and further lure her into the trap of being with him, now its spilled over into marital problems for Ridge and Brooke, so much so that they’re now headed for divorce court.

Of course he’s happy, he was practically gloating over it at Thanksgiving. So recently, CBS Soaps-in-Dpeth sat down with actor Thorsten Kaye, who plays Ridge Forrester on ‘Bold and the Beautiful’, and asked him about just what on earth Ridge’s motivations were concerning Thomas. He gave some surprising answers. “You can’t escape your kid at the end of the day, and Ridge doesn’t want to. That love has to be unconditional. It’s what you sign up for as a parent.” which is true, but he goes on to say that he thinks that Ridge thinks that on some level he thinks he owes his kids something for the traumatic childhoods they’ve had and, “That makes him blind to some of the stuff that’s going on right in front of him right now.”

Still, Kaye says that as long as there’s Drama to be had in Ridge’s camp, he’s there for it! And right now he has plenty of drama to work from. Count all the people that might have a problem with Ridge in LA, the first one would be Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), and then just scroll on down the list! Ridge has got his work cut out for him. After a year of being on the backburner, Ridge has his own frontrunning story again and it couldn’t have come at a better time. “Sometimes it feels like you don’t do as much anymore, but it turns out that our boss, Mr. Brad Bell, always finds a place for everybody, so I’m glad it’s my turn.” Haha, we are too!
