Coronation Street spoilers finds that the wheels were set in motion on Monday night’s episode as Vicky Jefferies (Kerri Quinn) turned up at the pre-wedding party to the amazement of Michelle Connor (Kym Marsh) and Robert Preston (Tristan Gemmill).
However, fans have quickly predicted that maybe Michelle wasn’t as shocked as viewers were, and in fact, the pair could be working together to ruin Robert’s life.
Coronation Street Spoilers: Monday’s Episode
In the Monday doubleheader, pregnant Vicky gatecrashed the engagement party and made a big deal out of every contact Robert had with her. She even went further, and when the pair went outside, she claimed to Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) that Robert was claiming that he was going to hurt her. However, when they were closer, she terrified Robert by whispering in his ear that she is going to take every penny that he’s worth for their baby.
That played right into the hands of Michelle, as Robert quickly signed over the Bistro to his plotting fiancé in a last-ditch effort to ensure that Vicky couldn’t get her hands on it. Later on, Michelle is convinced that Vicky will crash the wedding and Robert goes around to her house to tell her to stay away. The two have a loud argument with Vicky yelling as loud as she can. She throws mugs at him, and when a neighbour overhears, the house falls dead silent. The scenes have caused fans to predict that the two women in Robert’s life are actually working together to ruin him.
Coronation Street Spoilers: Fans Theories
One fan wrote on Twitter: “If Michelle hasn’t been working with Vicky this whole time I would be shocked. #corrie.” A second claimed: “#corrie I think Michelle is in cahoots with Vicky. They both want revenge on Robert.”
Before, another added: “Michelle & Vicky are working together to con Robert #Corrie @itvcorrie.” Kym Marsh, who plays Michelle, is leaving the soap fairly imminently, which means that we could soon learn about any possible plan that the two women have plotted together.
Marsh spoke about the drama that fans can expect between now and her departure during a television interview on Tuesday. She said: “It will be dramatic, as are most of my storylines on Coronation Street! Between now and my character leaving the street there’s a lot of drama to be had.” Reflecting on her time on the cobbles, she added: “I’ve had a wonderful time, I’ve been very, very lucky – I’ve had some fantastic storylines. It’s been a great run for me and 13-and-a-half years just flew by.”
We will have to wait and see how this plans out, but if it’s as dramatic as Marsh is claiming, then fans will be engaged right up until her departure.
