Who doesn’t think Adam Driver is a great actor? Driver has starred in several amazing films. Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Logan Lucky and A Marriage Story are just a small amount of his library. Most recently, Driver starred as Charlie in Netflix’s A Marriage Story and shocked everyone with his performance. He starred opposite the equally as talented Scarlett Johansson as a married couple navigating through a divorce with a small child. The result was heartbreaking and eye-opening. It really gave an honest account of all the emotions involved with a divorce and didn’t hold back.
A Marriage Story wasn’t the only time Driver shined this year, however. 2019 was a great year for the actors as he also appeared in The Report. In it, Driver plays a Senate staffer who heads an investigation into the CIA’s post 9/11 Detention and Interrogation Program. Although, his findings are more than he thought possible. He uncovers several shocking secrets in the process.

He closes out the year with a mega-blockbuster film in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. In the Star Wars saga, he portrays Kylo Ren, or Ben, the son of Han Solo and Leia. Spanning a trilogy, Driver has put in the work and though this may be the last Star Wars film for him, it only opens the door for more projects.

So why all this talk about Adam Driver? Well, Amazon Prime Video’s YouTube channel just released a video on Christmas day to showcase the actor. In it, they show several different clips of his work that’s available on their streaming platform and we all can’t help but enjoy the man’s work even more.
He spans almost every genre and can go from a comedic role to something as serious as A Marriage Story than go play an aspiring Sith lord in Star Wars. Driver has an amazing range of talent and many call him one of the best young actors currently rising.
It’s no doubt his young star is bright and has much burning left. It’s fun to think about what will be the next role and where he has left to go. It’s highly likely that we will see this man on the Oscar stage sometime in his lifetime, the true question is how soon and how many times?
