Welcome to Plathville Spoilers: The Plath Family and their Beliefs
Barry and Kim Plath have taken the world of TLC by storm. Their children vary in age and they are raised in a very unconventional way. The Plath children do not have access to television, computers, or technology. They haven’t even tried sodas! This makes fans of the show wonder why the Plath parents choose to raise their kids like this. Many say it is because of their religion.
Welcome to Plathville Spoilers: What Religion Do the Plaths Belong To?
The Plath family does have a family website, which is managed by their parents, and they have a YouTube channel. On their YouTube channel, they promote singing gospel and their church. This channel helps them to truly promote what they love in life, the Lord and singing.
Kim and Barry say that they are Christians, but they have yet to tell the public what branch they belong to. They have said that they belong to a Baptist church and they do follow all of the teachings of the Bible. The Plath family is also very dedicated to making music and being involved with it. Hosanna Plath, one of the oldest children, is married to a pianist and performs as a violinist. We haven’t seen too much of Hosanna on this season’s show. We hope to see more of Hosanna on the next season of the show.
The Plath family has nine children and they are Hosanna, Ethan, Micah, Moriah, Lydia, Isaac, Amber, Cassia, and Mercy. Ethan is another child in the family who is married and moved away. He is featured in the show quite frequently though.
Welcome to Plathville Spoilers: What do Barry and Kim do for a Living?
With a huge farm and family like this one, many fans of the show are asking what the Plath parents do for a living. Kim is a naturopathic doctor and Barry works as a planner in the transportation world. These two are very conservative and want their children to live in the same way that they have been raising them.
The Plaths’ religion may be close to the Duggars, who are independent Baptist members. We have seen many of the same ideas and topics discussed on both shows. You can watch more of the Plaths on TLC. Welcome to Plathville airs on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. EST.
