Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that there has been a lot of drama for the NBC show, both on-screen and off. First, there was the November 8th Time Jump, where the show went forward one year into the future. Fans have been divided on it, with some considering this far too confusing. Then, there was the infamous report that the entire cast was released from their contracts. This led the stars to call out TMZ and others for the news. Camila Banus (Gabi DiMera), in particular, made an epic video. She’d been getting lots of calls and messages, and decided to set the record straight in public. Chandler Massey (Will Horton) also spoke out online, posting a simple tweet to say the reports were false. Kristian Alfonso (Hope Brady/Princess Gina) also did a video addressing the reports. But the drama wasn’t over yet.
Days of Our Lives spoilers: Series interrupted
While the show was dealing with the drama surrounding this report, another drama piled on. This time, was political. With impeachment hearings in the House taking up media attention, Days (and other soaps) have been taken off the air multiple times. Week one found the show pre-empted two days, while the second week has claimed three. This has had fans having to wait for their Days of Our Lives spoilers to be put online, if the episode isn’t pushed back a day. Not a great situation for a show that just built up a lot of momentum with their historic plot twist. But there was better news on November 21st.

Days of Our Lives spoilers: Renewal
The cast came out hard against initial reports they were fired. The extended hiatus was always planned, and this is the time the show is usually waiting to hear about its future. In addition, other sources said the show’s chances for survival are good. That turned out to be true. In great news for DOOL fans, NBC has renewed the series through 2021. Fans can look forward to a lot more drama in Salem in the near future. We personally can’t wait. The recent Time Jump brought lots of unpredictable twists, which is refreshing. While it can be a bit jarring to see all these changes happening at once, we also appreciate how the writers are slowly unraveling the events that led everyone to where they are a year later. We’re glad the show is going to be around long enough to put all the pieces of this puzzle together.
