Eric Braeden is someone who is very proud of his family and of course, proud of his grandchildren. Even though they live in Atlanta now, Eric travels to visit them or they come out to Los Angeles to see their ‘Opa’ as the kids like to call him in his native German.

Eric shared a throwback photo of his beloved German Shepard Kaiser with his granddaughter from several years ago. In the photo Kaiser is sitting in the back porch and spending quality time with the young girl. Needless to say, Eric definitely misses his beloved pet and thinks of him often and that’s why he shared the photo with his fans.
The daytime television star shared his photo on his Twitter account. It didn’t take very long for his fans to respond. Some of them left comments such as, “I’m sure you probably think of him every day now. No matter how long since they left being a close companion, the empty spot in the home is always there as well as the one in your heart, too.”
Another fan wrote, “This is such a sweet moment. He looked like he was a fantastic family member. German Shepards are definitely the best dogs. My heart goes out to you. Know that he’s probably thinking and still protecting your family somewhere over the rainbow, too.”
