BH90210 spoilers indicate that the cast is about to be shut down, an old castmate is a suspect in the fire, and Brian Austin Green (David Silver) is dealing with the fact Zach (Ty Wood) is his son. We also find Jason Priestley (Brandon Walsh) driving everyone crazy as he deals with the professional pressures and personal struggles. If you missed it, let’s get to your weekly BH90210 recap.
BH90210 spoilers: Show interrupted
Following the fire that consumed most of their sets (the Peach Pit managed to survive), Christine Elise (Emily Valentine) informs the cast production is halted. No one will insure them with an active threat out there. Shannen Doherty (Brenda Walsh) pushes for action, and Christine suggests they go play detective if they think they can do better than the professionals.
BH90210 spoilers: Tori’s insecurities
Tori (Donna Martin) is stressing today over the fact that the first scene to be shot on their first day is a love scene with Brian (David Silver). Between the feelings she’s starting to have again, her insecurities about her looks, and nerves over filming scenes like this again 20 years later, she’s a wreck.

When the cameras finally roll, she keeps breaking character to make sure Jason is getting her correct side in the shot. This eventually leads her to hire an intimacy coordinator. This is someone who comes on set for scenes like this to make sure boundaries are respected and everyone feels comfortable. Unfortunately, the lady is constantly jumping in with commentary and questions during the takes. She makes everyone insane, even Tori. They end up going two days trying to get this scene before they shoot a single minute, but it looks like Tori’s annoyance with her new hire helped her get past her insecurity.
BH90210 spoilers: Brian’s struggle
Meanwhile, Brian isn’t being very sensitive to Tori’s nerves and obvious pleas for backup because he’s got problems of his own. He’s still wrapping his mind around the idea that he has a son he never knew about. When they talk next, Brian says he thinks Zach being his assistant will be too weird now, but he is willing to help him get a job on the show as a PA. Zach’s grateful for that, but gets a little weird when Brian says he can call him “Dad”. Zach wants to get to know Brian, but he’s not wanting to go that far. Especially since Brian has yet to tell anyone about him, even Shay (La La Anthony).
Brian plays it off, but later goes to Shannen for advice. She suggests that he just focus on getting to know each other for now and worry about the rest later. He’ll know when to tell the others when the time is right.
BH90210 spoilers: Dating contracts
The cast is really missing the ‘90s today. In 2019, things have gotten way too complicated.
After hooking up following the script re-write session, Christine eventually presents Gabrielle Carteris (Andrea Zuckerman) with a contract to sign. It proves that their relationship is 100% consensual. Gabrielle thinks this is a little weird, especially since she hasn’t really told anyone about their hookup yet. Christine insists, given the times.
Also presented with one of those is Ian Ziering (Steve Sanders). He and Anna have gotten closer since he helped her with the script, and she wants to be all PC and proper about this.
Jennie hears about all this and is confused, as well as a bit worried. Given she’s seeing Wyatt Jackson (Brendan Penny) now, she wonders if she needs one of those signed, too. They’re definitely not in the ‘90s anymore.
BH90210 spoilers: Suspect #1
Back to the fire that threatened the entire production. There’s a great scene where the cast gathers together to list everyone they might have made an enemy of. This eventually includes Christina Aguilera, who someone gave side eye while filming back in the day. Shannen can’t even at the idea they now have to list everyone they might have accidently offended at some point.
A minor fall down the stairs later reminds Tori of Jamie Walters (Ray Pruit). He becomes their top suspect, as the abusing Donna storyline basically screwed up his career. They track him down at a club he’s singing at (props on the The Heights reference, as he’s singing “How Do You Talk to an Angel” when they arrive).
When he gets offstage, the gang confronts him about the situation and he’s shocked. He says that his stalled career was a great thing because he became a firefighter, something he feels is a more meaningful profession. Given his career path, he’s kind of offended at the idea he’d start a fire. They all eventually makeup and he gets them to come onstage with him for a repeat of the song.
Eventually, we learn that the arsonist was actually the same superfan Tori stole an old show costume from in episode 1. This doesn’t mean the mystery’s over for this show, though. The episode ends with Gabrielle coming across a guy with a badge as she’s leaving set. The shot follows the man as he eventually steals a bottle from the trash that Zach had been drinking from.
BH90210 spoilers: Jason under pressure
Between the script drama, the near-departure of Shannen, the dolls, and fire, Jason is under a lot of pressure today. The entertainment shows are reporting all of this and he has yet to get a shot in the can, thanks to all the above-mentioned problems as well as Tori’s crisis of confidence.
All the stress turns him into a bit of a jerk on the set and everyone’s noticing. He has no time to listen to anyone, much less make any fixes that are requested. Jennie eventually has enough and confronts Jason about this. He admits to being under a lot of pressure here as well as at home. He’s thinking of leaving Camille (Vanessa Lachey). Jennie, of course, gives him grief and calls him a caveman over not feeling okay with raising another man’s child. Personally? We call it normal. Yeah, they both cheated and were both wrong, but it would be a bit much for Camille to expect him to be totally cool with a living reminder in the house 24/7 for 18 years.
