‘Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, August 20 finds Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) shocking Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) with a proposal. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) takes a swipe at Adam while Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) talk about their family problems.
‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, August 20: Adam Shocks Sharon With Marriage Proposal, Adrian Shocks Son Rey By Flirting With His Ex Sharon!
It begins at Crimson Lights, where Adrian Rosales (Jay Montalvo) can’t get his eyes off of Sharon. Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) is there and realizes that his father is flirting with his ex-girlfriend. Rey wants him to pack his bags and leave but then again isn’t surprised that he doesn’t really have a place to go. Rey thinks that Adrian is going to hurt their family again. Adrian snaps back that Rey’s brother is having a baby with his ex-wife. Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue) tries to break up the argument. After Adrian leaves, Rey consoles his mother and is upset that he keeps causing everyone problems.

‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: At Chancellor Park
At Chancellor Park, Adam finds out that Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) is running for district attorney. The scene then switches to a rooftop bar where Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) is grilling Michael about some of the things she suspects he is doing behind her back. Michael is icy to her. Lauren wants to know why he’s taken on a new client even though he’s no longer working on the Adam and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) case. Nearby, Phyllis and Summer Newman (Hunter King) are there. They talk about Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) bringing the mystery girl to the wedding.
‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: At the bar
Adam is at the bar and he approaches Michael. Adam admits that he persuaded some other candidates not to run against him. Phyllis can’t help but overhear the conversation. Michael walks off. Phyllis thanks Adam for the job he did with Grand Phoenix. Adam brings up Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) restraining order. Phyllis gets snarky with him. Phyllis can’t help but wonder if Adam wants to do what’s best for Christian or if he just wants to grind his brother where it hurts the most. Phyllis warns Adam that seeking revenge gets you nowhere. Zoe Hardisty (Anna Grace Barlow) arrives and introduces herself to Summer. She says that she follows her on social media. Summer learns that Theo told Zoe that Kyle had been worried about her.
‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: On their honeymoon
While on their honeymoon, Lola and Kyle are in bed. They look at some of the photos from their wedding. They briefly talk about Theo and Zoe, with Lola wondering if he tried to make Summer jealous. They then talk about Adrian, with Lola admitting that she doesn’t want to talk about them. They end up making love out in bed instead.
