‘Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers for the week of Monday, August 19-Friday, August 23 indicate that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will pop the question to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and she’ll look at him like he’s grown two heads before turning him down flat. We all know Adam and we know that he’s not going to suffer this rejection well. He’ll urge Sharon to just think it over. Later, when she goes over to his penthouse, he’ll ask if she’s thought about it and she’ll tell him that indeed she has, but it still probably won’t be the answer that he’s most hoping for. Come on Sharon, Adam or Rey, which is it? Whatever her answer is, something will push Adam over the edge and cause him to hurl a glass into a wall.

Though, that may not be entirely Sharon’s fault, he has a myriad of other reasons to be upset as well. One of which is losing visitation with Christian Newman (Alex Wilson), also Chelsea Newman’s stance on Connor Newman and the fact that he and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) are at war with one another really isn’t helping matters.

‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for the week of August 19-23rd: Sharon turns Adam down
Adam has a myriad of problems to choose from so just pick one when it comes to whatever the catalyst was that resulted in shattering glass! My guess is that Sharon’s proposal was just the tip of the iceberg though. Meanwhile, Victor’s focusing his attention on Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and will worry about just how deep he’s in with Adam. He reminds Michael of Adam’s promise to destroy his family and he’ll want him to keep that in mind as he assumes the role of DA.

That won’t be the only battle that Victor’s fighting this week, turns out he’ll take an active role in Abby Newman’s (Melissa Ordway) interests, so that’ll probably mean lowering the boom on Phyllis Summers. (Michelle Stafford) She’ll pay him a rather angry visit this week, telling him that if he dares to cross her she’ll make sure he loses everything. But we know Victor, he’s not one to back down from such a challenge. He’ll lean across the table and growl menacingly “Bring it on!” at Phyllis. Be careful what you wish for, Victor!
‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Will the Abbots implode from the inside out?
The Abbots will be fighting amongst themselves at Society, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) doesn’t trust Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) as far as he can throw her and that is going to be the cause of some major tension. He feels like it’s only a matter of time before this decision comes back to bite them all, given Ashley’s track record. However, Ashley seems like she’s all on board now, in spite of her brother’s misgivings. At least she’ll have their other brother, Jack Abbot (Peter Bergman) to back her up! Can they actually trust Ashley? Stay tuned!!!
