‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers tease now that Ted Laurent (Gilles Marini) is dead (supposedly), Salem is going to need another handsome but crooked district attorney to cause problems at the Salem Police Department and of course, illegally break a few hearts in the process, too. But is Ted really dead? That’s what fans want to know.
Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) managed to kill Ted, ending Giles Marini’s year-long stint on ‘Days of our Lives’. And while this doesn’t come as a surprise for many people, Ted still has a lot of unfinished business in Salem. Plus, the actor who played Ted was just getting into his groove when it came to the character.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Is Ted Coming Back From The Dead?
Gilles Marini, who played Ted for the last year, told CBS Soaps in Depth in an interview, “I had a lot of apprehension. I was really worried about remembering all of the dialogue. That, actually, was not as bad as I thought. The camaraderie was much greater than I ever thought it would be. I really liked it. I’m kind of a more shy person. I work and I go home. This time, it was a lot of talking with everyone and a lot of fun times. I thought it would be harder and at the end of the day, it wasn’t. I was really happy when I was on the show.”
And while there are as many people out there who loved Ted as much as they hated him, here’s hoping that the character does come back sooner rather than later. After all, his lover Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonsno) will need some questions answered! And as many fans know, you really aren’t dead on daytime television, even when that final nail in the coffin is hammered in. In the meantime, we will be keeping our fingers crossed!
