‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers for Thursday, August 1: Mr. Shin Readies His His Decision – Could He Go Off-Board?
Gabi is stressing today, as she’d left a message for Wei Shin (Michael Hagiwara) to get back to her, and he hasn’t yet. She’s still worried about what Not-Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) has up her sleeve. Stefan advises her to relax. There’s no DiMeras she can marry, so there’s no problem. Plus, he’d rather get to wedding night activities. He knows they both feel something for each other, and he sees this as a little more than a business move. Gabi eventually relents and follows Stefan upstairs.

‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Back to town
Meanwhile, Not-Nicole is also stressing over the lack of a response. Seems she’d left her own message for the suddenly popular Mr. Shin, and she can’t wait to take over that company and get her real man—Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). Reminding Brady she’s doing this for him, they eventually learn that Shin will be in Salem and Nicole decides they all need to get there right away.

Once in Salem, she comes across Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), who is devastated to learn she married Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis). He’s also alarmed, and wants to know what Brady was thinking to let her do this. This leads to a brawl that has to get broken up by Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey).
Not-Nicole reminds him she doesn’t need his permission to do anything, and she and Tony got close after their ordeal in Nashville before storming away.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Surprise!
She’s heading to the DiMera mansion. Shin had already arrived, interrupting Gabi and Stefan on their way to the bedroom. Gabi wastes no time in telling him she and Stefan are married, and that her work with Gabi Chic more than proves she’s the right DiMera for the job. Stefan backs her and insists they’d been dating for a while on the sly, so as not to attract any bad publicity. They just don’t feel like hiding anymore. Of course, Stefan’s word might not mean much, seeing as how Shin came to tell him he was fired.
While they’re discussing this, Not-Nicole shows up with her very own DiMera man and says she is now another viable alternative for CEO. We smell cat fight ahead. Mr. Shin has a difficult job ahead of him, what happens if he sees right through both of these acts – is he going to go off-board for a pick?

Meanwhile, Sarah feels bad about what happened and thinks Eric shouldn’t be alone. She wants him to come back to Casa Kiriakis with them. Rex goes along with it, although we’re pretty sure this isn’t the evening he had in mind.
The party gets even bigger as they find Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) about to have a Chinese feast. As they’re both newlywed couples (and Eric is a new in-law), they take Sarah’s cue and insist on all of them eating together. When Sarah and Rex eventually excuse themselves, they insist on Eric staying to watch a movie with them, but Eric declines.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Slip of the tongue
Upstairs, an exhausted Sarah (who’d worked a double shift, as did Rex) is in bed when Rex come back out to tell her he’s drawn her a bath. She thinks that’s awesome of him, but she’s too tired to enjoy it.
Rex is cool and joins her in bed, giving her a shoulder rub. He might not be cool long, as while exchanging those three little words, Sarah accidently says Eric’s name.
