‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that there is a long, bitter battle possibly ahead for the Quartermaine family. While Oscar Nero (Garren Stitt) did have other (later dated/documented) plans for his ELQ shares, he did originally leave them to Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin). This fight could very well be the straw that broke the camel’s back for this scheming cult leader. Here’s what you need to know.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Oscar Ends Up Being the Final Nail In Shiloh’s Coffin!
We all know by now that Drew Cain (Billy Miller) doesn’t remember most of his life. In particular, he only has the last five years or so to hold on to, and he’s been holding tight. Afraid of losing his memories of Oscar (and others he’s made in this time), he has put his past under lock and key, literally. There’s just one piece of his past that won’t go away. Namely, Shiloh.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Truth and lies
We also knew already that Shiloh alleged a past between him and Drew, one that changed his life. Saved it, too. He’s made several attempts to talk to Drew about it, and even nudge him toward telling him more about the memories he can get access to. To that end, we also once saw what we believe to be a Dawn of Day spy listening in at GH as Drew discussed that. But there was more to this story.
It seems Shiloh, as revealed earlier this week, left out the part about being a traitor who sold fuel to the enemy. Drew was about to bust him, and we’re guessing Shiloh arranged an “accident” that took care of any incriminating memories. With Drew not wanting them back, Shiloh should be safe, right? Wrong.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Grief does crazy things
We all know that Drew is really suffering from Oscar’s loss, as well as Kim Nero’s (Tamara Braun) attempted rape in hopes of making Oscar 2.0. But one thing that’s really getting to Drew lately is the ELQ share situation. He knows what Oscar really wanted, and he is determined to protect his son’s legacy at all costs.
We’re betting that protecting Oscar’s legacy from Shiloh’s greedy paws is ultimately going to be what tips the scales in favor of getting back the memories. After all, he’s made no secret of being suspicious of Shiloh, and a dad determined to protect a kid is a dangerous thing. He’s got to know there’s something incriminating in his memories, so we think he might view that as the best weapon, should the legal fight go awry. What better way to cement Shiloh’s total downfall than a treason charge? Not even a big donor can get him out of that–especially given all the other charges he’s facing.
