Days of Our Lives spoilers have Olivia’s Claire Brady cooling her heels in Bayview in the wake of the actress leaving the series after four years in the part. While it hasn’t been a secret that Claire was on the way out, it wasn’t until she was officially out of Salem that Olivia spoke up about the departure. Here’s what you need to know.
Days of Our Lives spoilers: The goodbye
Claire was exposed as the Salem Firestarter, and ultimately was given treatment instead of jail time. The storyline gave the actress a great showcase. Olivia shared scenes with all the important people in Claire’s life, and she even tried to help Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) out by taking full responsibility for everything. She claimed Eve had no idea what she’d done.

The actress also nailed the scenes between her and real-life bestie Victoria Konefal (Ciara Brady) as she expressed her shame and sadness over what she’d done to her aunt. The pair were able to make peace before Claire left her old life behind to focus on healing. Over all, she couldn’t have gotten a better sendoff, and we’re smelling potential awards in Olivia’s future.

In a multi-picture post that featured Olivia as Claire in her hospital bed as well as a shot of her, Victoria, and on-screen father , the actress said her piece. She thanked for the show and fans for a great four years and for sticking with Claire, “through the good, bad, and batsh*t.” She also, rightly, thanked the scribes who gave her, “an opportunity to dig my nails into some fascinating material.” The post was signed, “Farewell from Salem’s newest pyro”.

The fan reaction has been mostly positive, praising the actress for her abilities and wishing her well in the future. Many also said they were going to miss the actress. If her performances in her final weeks in Salem are any indication, they’re not going to have to wait long to see her back in action.
