‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers indicate that star Victoria Konefal (Ciara Brady) has sad news that she has shared with her fans this week. The stunning brunette has revealed on her Instagram account that her father has passed away. No additional details have been given as of press time.

Victoria shared a throwback photo of her and her father on one of her Instagram stories. She captioned it simply with, “Rest peacefully daddy. I love you. I always will.”

While not much is known about her father, Victoria has always made it known that she is very close with her mother. She said that when she first auditioned for the role of Ciara Brady, her mother was delighted. Even though Victoria didn’t know much about the soap herself, she says that Days of Our Lives helped her mother learned English after she moved to the United States from Poland at the age of 19.
Growing up in both Brooklyn and Chicago, Victoria says that she was always very close with her family. In an effort to grow closer to her Polish roots, the actress also entered in the Miss Poland USA beauty contest. And yes, she won the title in 2015! Victoria even had her very own float during the Polish Day Parade held in New York City. During her year as Miss Poland USA she also strived to bring awareness to the Polish Veterans Society.
So far Victoria Konefal has not made any additional comments about her father’s death or if this will affect her filming schedule for Days of Our Lives. Either way, we send our condolences to Victoria and the Konefal family during this very difficult time in their lives. Here’s hoping that Victoria gets all of the love and support that she needs right now.
