Let’s unpack this, shall we? Sally Spectra suffered a rather humiliating break-up in which she lost out to the ‘first girl wins’ trope, meaning, Wyatt got back into a relationship with Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden), his high school girlfriend. Granted he waited until they had officially broken up to do this, but the speed in which he did it indicates that obviously, he was thinking about bailing way before Flo came into the picture.

Also, Wyatt really stuck his neck out for Sally, getting her a job with a different company that would’ve, in the long run, been good for both of their professional careers. However, even that wasn’t enough for Sally and she ended up staying with Forrester Creations in the end. Being made to feel like a fool romantically is one thing, but when it involves your professional life its entirely another.

Even so, our girl Sally didn’t deserve being tossed aside like that. Just because she pumped the brakes on the relationship a bit and made a different professional decision didn’t mean that she didn’t deserve to be mourned properly. However, the Spencer men don’t seem to be too good at the grieving process, choosing instead to ignore it entirely and just choose the next girl in line. It seems Sally has been feeling the loneliness lately, and recently she even tried to ensnare Wyatt again by sending Flo on a bunch of Forrester-related errands while leaving those two alone together so she could lean in and smooch him. But now Wyatt has decided to be a stand-up guy and turn her down, saying that he’s taken.

So it would seem that Sally needs a new man. How might that happen? Well, for one thing, there’s no excuse for Sally not to have tindr or some other dating app on her phone so she could find a love connection there. Although, there is that notion that everyone online lies, so she could totally fall for a catfish situation, which could actually make things interesting if you think about it.
But it doesn’t have to be an online connection, there’s still something to be said for real life love. A handsome stranger could come into bikini bar, and who says she has to find everlasting love? She could just play the field for a little bit, if she really does want Wyatt back, then perhaps making him jealous by letting him see her with other guys might be the way to do it.

She could also always fall for another designer. Say there’s a new up and coming designer that bursts into Forrester Creations and maybe at first they’re rivals but then the rivalry gives way to something much hotter. Maybe she’s forced to collaborate with this new guy on a new project and sparks end up flying between them. It doesn’t have to be a rivalry though, it could be an instagram designer that she found and maybe she wants to help the guy out, she gets him an interview with Forrester and away we go. There’s lots of ways that Sally could get a new man.
Then again, who says her new love interest has to be a guy? Hey, it’s 2019! It could happen. Please, let’s give Sally a new love interest. She deserves better.
