According to reports, Christel has landed herself a role in an upcoming indie movie titled We Need to Talk. Sounds pretty interesting, doesn’t it? The beautiful daytime television actress made the announcement on her social media account. “So excited to announce I’m a part of this cast!” Khalil enthused on Instagram. “Can’t wait for you all to see this film. Such a funny script by Todd Wolfe!”

The movie will be written and directed by Todd Wolfe. The plot of the movie is about a self-centered video game celebrity by the name of Great Scott Gamer. He’s played by Big Time Rush star James Maslow. The plotline reads as the following: “He has no problem speaking to millions of fans online every day but can’t communicate with the real people in his life.” That’s when his girlfriend (played by Arrow actress Emily Bett Rickards) takes matters into her own hands by telling him quite simply: they need to talks! It throws him into a tailspin with a lot of drama and mixed up moments that will get viewers laughing. Christel will play a character by the name of Aly Fulton.

Now as far as Christel’s future on The Young and the Restless, it doesn’t appear as though she will be coming back anytime soon.
