General Hospital spoilers relate to a special trip in honor of Oscar Nero (Garren Stitt), some legal trouble for Ava Jerome (Maura West), and more Dawn of Day developments. If you missed your fix, let’s catch up on highlights in today’s General Hospital recap.
General Hospital (GH) spoilers: Are you kidding?
Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) is beside himself today, as Ava sits locked up at the PCPD. She’s proud of her attempt on Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) life and is ready to plead guilty in court. She brags about getting justice, and Scott keeps telling her to shut up with that talk, because she’ll be locked away. It doesn’t matter to her. She is just glad that justice was served.
Not making any headway on his own, he enlists Julian Jerome (William DeVry) to try talking sense into her. He comes running and doesn’t seem too upset about what she did, but he sees Scott’s point and makes his own attempt. He says that if Ryan should happen to live, he’ll likely go to Ferncliff while she goes away for attempted murder. He argues that if she allows him to destroy her life like that, he’ll have won. This eventually convinces her to change her mind. She’ll plead not guilty.
General Hospital (GH) spoilers: Goodbye trip
Speaking of Julian, he is planning a trip with Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) and Drew Cain (Billy Miller). They’re planning to make the Kilimanjaro trip Oscar was unable to. They’re going to spread his ashes there so he can look at the stars in the place he wanted to go to so bad. Drew had stopped by to see Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) to get her blessing to this, because Quartermaines are usually buried in the family crypt. She consents and thinks it’s a great idea. She says she’d still like to put a plaque up for him.
Also related to this is Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). She’d been with Kim when Drew came along to pick her up. Kim had wanted to give her Oscar’s guitar, because she thought he’d want her to have it. Joss loves it, and promises to start lessons. For right now, she decides to take it to Oscar’s Meadow and see if she can remember any of the chords he taught her.
General Hospital (GH) spoilers: Doomed?
Jordan Ashford (Brianna Nicole Henry) is shocked to learn she won’t be able to continue dialysis if she doesn’t want to have a heart attack. She still has one hope, however: Ryan. If he survives the surgery he’s undergoing thanks to Ava’s attack, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will do everything possible to get Ryan to agree to the donation. We personally think they’d be better off the other way. After all, dying right there in the hospital will make preserving the kidney easier. Plus, as his next of kin, we’re pretty sure Kevin Collins will be able to agree to the donation.
General Hospital (GH) spoilers: Game Over
Finally, we have the Dawn of Day drama. The mask is finally off, as Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) visits Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) in his hospital room. He tries to pull his typical thing with her, but she’s done playing now. She tells him how disgusted she’s been having to listen to his garbage, among other things. Shiloh is surprised, but things are probably getting clearer as Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) enters the room. He’s got the toxicology tests that show Sam was drugged. Plus, they have her getting coerced into drinking the “tea” on tape. Shiloh objects to this, but Sam says the only consent needed to make the recording legal is hers. They want the location of the pledges, or Shiloh is getting turned in for the drugging of Sam.
Later on, they’re in the lighthouse that Shiloh said he’s keeping them in. They do a little searching while Sam deals with some trauma from what happened there. Eventually, they find the pledges and decide that they’re going to open one to make sure this is legit. The one they choose? Margaux Dawson’s (Elizabeth Henderickson). We couldn’t see much, but whatever her secret is has to do with her mother. We think it might have said something about a coverup. Either way, this is likely to come in handy for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard).
Speaking of pledges, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) has finally decided to come clean about spilling family dirt. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is surprised to realize the secret was about her instead of Sonny.
