Days of Our Spoilers: Mysterious Call Gives It Away – Home-wrecker Ted “Pepe” Laurent Also Involved Chloe/Cartel Business
We’ve been watching this show since around middle-to-late last year, and so far, we’re counting at least four attempts on Ciara’s life. The latest being, she’s a cartel thug’s hostage. We’d nominate her “most likely to need nine lives”, but Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) is about even at this point in the race. Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) is in hot pursuit, but as the whole room had been distracted by Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) shooting, he’s a little behind. This has allowed Hector, the kidnapper, to take Ciara somewhere where he agrees that she’s only slowing him down before holding a gun to her.

Meanwhile, Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) is frantic after learning what’s happened and gets into it with Ben. They should have told her these guys were on the way. Ben claims it happened too fast to warn them, then insists on helping Hope find her. They come across her earrings along the way, and Hope is pleased to see her daughter is leaving them a trail. We’re wondering how much of a trail she could’ve left without raising her captor’s suspicions, though.
As for Rafe, his injuries aren’t life-threatening. In fact, obviously upset about the fight he and Hope had, he’s all ready to get out of bed and help in the search. Gabi, Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) all manage to get him to stay put. Of course, Rafe demands Eli’s phone so he can call Hope. He leaves a message about wanting more than anything to help search for Ciara right now.
DOOL Spoilers: Taking advantage
After all the drama of the two shootings, two of our not-so-upstanding members of Salem society are using tragedy to their advantage. Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) being one of them. He tries, once more, to get Chloe to come back with him instead of sticking with the “monster” Stefan. Chloe tells him off, having had enough of his Stefan insults, and his attempts to control her life. She will not go anywhere near Casa Kiriakis, and that’s it. She apologizes for saying she’s safe today, no thanks to him before leaving. Stefan’s set up a room for her at the Salem Inn temporarily.
The other opportunist today is Gabi. Now, to be fair, she does seem genuinely shaken by almost losing Rafe and somewhat taken aback by Stefan’s kindness. However, when he drives her back to her place after Rafe’s out of danger, she flashes back to Brady’s plan to take down Stefan and kisses him again.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Showing his true colors
For a while now, Pepe Laurent has been trying hard to get Hope for himself. He’s even claimed to want to be a better man, hence his new job. Unfortunately, it seems there’s something a little more sinister on Pepe’s agenda. The day before, we saw him get a call from someone who’d apparently been warned not to call him on that line. He gives his mystery caller more grief today before saying they might as well talk a moment, as they’ve already called this line. During the conversation, he talks about his pursuit of Hope then talks about the Chloe/Cartel situation. Eli, by the way, overhears something about not wanting Hope to know he and the mystery caller are talking. He questions Pepe, but gets nowhere. Later, Eli warns Rafe that Pepe is up to no good.
Later on, Pepe stops by the scene of the Chloe attack and chats her up about the situation. Chloe isn’t in a big rush to talk, as she’s shaken right now and needs to get Holly inside where it’s safe. Stefan’s already ordered one of his people in particular to keep an eye on her room at the Inn. Pepe agrees they can talk about the attack tomorrow, then dials his mystery caller to fill them in. Hmm. Now, we’re at a loss as to who he could be speaking with and what they have to do with this all.
