Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Kate Smells a Rat, Accuses Ted of Lying After Overhearing Mystery Conversation – #Cin Lives as Ben Beats Hope To Ciara Rescue Mission.
Ciara is desperately trying to plead her case with Hector, who is not exactly looking patient. He gets increasingly agitated as Ciara hammers him on being related to a large portion of the Salem PD, as well as the Ben connection, and we have to agree with her. He’s an idiot. He seems to smarten up enough to allow her to call Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) to cut a deal. They arrange a meeting, and Ciara thinks he made a wise move. He’s not interested in her assessment, as he isn’t planning to be anywhere near there when the meeting takes place. Ciara is worried and tries to reason with him, but he’s not having it.

Meanwhile, Hope and Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) have been searching for Ciara. When Hope gets the call from Ciara, she assures Ben she is fine and she’s getting a rescue together, but refuses to let Ben take part, as he’s a civilian. Ben “leaves”, but actually stays close enough to hear Hope say where the meet will take place. He gets there first and fights with Hector, eventually getting knocked out a moment. Ciara loses it and jumps the guy, giving Ben the opportunity to get up and take the gun that’s been lost in the struggle. He’s holding it on a knocked-out Hector when Hope and the others arrive. Ciara points out that Hector was going to double-cross them, and Ben is the only reason she’s not far away by now. That must really work Hope’s nerves…
DOOL Spoilers: Shady dealings
Ted Laurent (Gilles Marini) continues to be the slime that everyone says he is by contacting his mystery caller to assure them he’ll let them know when Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) is back at the DiMera mansion. Kate overhears this and wants to know what’s going on. He makes an excuse that sounds logical and innocent, but we’re not sure Kate believes him. We know for sure she doesn’t when the whole Hope/Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) thing comes up. He lives up to the Pepe name again by going on about how he does, in fact, want to be better and have Hope. Kate laughs in his face, but he informs her that Hope is very much considering leaving Rafe. She can’t even, and thinks Hope isn’t that bright if she’s believing a bit of this “I wanna be good” thing Pepe’s selling.
Speaking of Kate, Victor has gone against Maggie Kiriakis’ (Suzanne Rogers) wishes and decided to hire Kate on. But he’s got an agenda. He thinks that giving Kate a job will help earn him some points with his and Kate’s son, Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier). Maggie thinks there is no way that will make a difference. We’ll have to see.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Keeping it Classy
Gabi continues to sink lower by the day, as she continues to use her recent scare with Rafe as a way to get closer to Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash). She basically jumps him in her house, and actually starts making progress until Lani Price (Sal Stowers) comes out and interrupts them. When Stefan leaves, she explains that Rafe asked her to stay and watch the kid. They get into it a bit over Gabi basically jumping Stefan of all people in her kitchen. Lani asks what Rafe would think if he walked in on them. Gabi has to explain what happened, and Lani wants to go check in with the station. Gabi can’t have that, because it would interfere with her playing Stefan. She uses her lost phone as an excuse to leave Lani there with the kid, then hurries to Stefan’s. She uses the same excuse with him when he wants to know why she’s here, then makes another move. This time, she might actually be successful. Depends on if anyone else shows up at the mansion to interrupt. We know Chloe won’t be back for a bit.
