According to reports, actor Mark Grossman has been hired to play Adam Newman on The Young and the Restless. If Mark looks familiar, that’s because his former credits include the Freeform series Famous in Love and Hustle. He also starred in Family Dinner and will now be making his debut in the soap world.

Adam Newman has always been the black sheep in his family. The last time he was around was back in 2016, when Chloe framed him for murder. He escaped to the woods with his wife, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). However, it didn’t take long for Chloe to find him, tranquilize him and blow up the cabin in the process. Adam was presumed dead. Back in 2018, Chelsea reappeared and was found stealing money that she was apparently taking for Adam. Before she left Genoa City, she made a phone call to an unknown person. There’s been speculation that the person she called was Adam. This has led many viewers to believe that Adam Newman is indeed alive and in hiding.
So far producers for The Young and the Restless have made no comments about the recast or when fans can expect to see Mark on the canvas. With so much going on with the Newman family, it’s without a doubt that everyone will be in shock! Of course, fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next. Talk about exciting news!
