‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The war is just getting started
Gabi has taken Brady’s advice and gotten in touch with the DiMera board to tell them about Stefan DiMera’s (Tyler Christopher) plan regarding Gabi Chic. As we had predicted, the board doesn’t take too kindly to it, and Stefan is forced to hire Gabi back. This leads to a bit of an ugly moment between the two, where she tries to slap him and Stefan grabs her arm just in time. She’s not scared of him, but Stefan says she should be.

Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) seems a bit disturbed when she walks in on that part and asks what’s going on. Gabi says all is well, and she’s just on the way out. She wants to give a little parting advice, though: she tells Chloe to get out of there as fast as she can. Chloe asks Stefan about it when they’re alone, and he explains she’d provoked him. He’s completely stressed, and Chloe has the cure for that. No, not that. As she told Stefan, minds out of the gutter, people. She wants to massage his head, and Stefan is feeling a little better pretty fast. He might not be feeling so good long, because there’s plenty of ominous shots today of the front door and through a window that suggests someone is watching them.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: A deal’s a deal
Meanwhile, Sonny has seen Victor striking some kind of deal with Diana Cooper (Judith Chapman). He just didn’t hear what it was. When Sonny shares this with a recently-arrived Brady, he suggests they just go in and ask. Wow. Did someone just completely uncomplicate matters on a TV show? Especially a soap? Anyway, he tells Sonny that Victor had promised no more secrets, and Brady is going to hold him to it.
Victor somewhat complies after Brady does just that. He admits to making it worth her while to back Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) off, but won’t tell what he promised in return. We learn later that part of Victor’s plan to get John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Diana back together is to tell Marlena that John is Leo’s father. Oops.
This plan might just work on a temp basis. See, Marlena and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) are already smarting from John defending Leo during their mini-confrontation yesterday. When asked about it, John decides to come clean, but to just tell the part of the story where Leo was abused. Well, that and (rightfully) point out that any confrontation would look back in court. It seems the lie got to him, because he visited Diana again to say that he doesn’t care about any of the reasons she gave. He’s telling the truth. Too little, too late, John…

Try, try again
Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) has turned down Rex Brady’s (Kyle Lowder) proposal, citing wanting to be sensitive to Rex’s brother, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). He knows there has to be more to this than meets the eye, and he thinks it’s her trust issues they’d discussed before. He once again enlists Eric to help him make progress in finally getting that ‘yes’, but can’t understand why Eric is so reluctant. And this is going to get so ugly when he finds out Eric and Sarah have a thing for each other.
