General Hospital spoilers indicate that Obrecht has her eye on Peter and Maxie and, apparently, she doesn’t like what she sees. As a matter of fact, she has noticed the attraction between them as Peter continues to pursue the single mother, even though she still can’t get over the death of her husband, Nathan. Here’s what you need to know.
General Hospital Spoilers: Peter and Maxie Grow Closer, Obrecht Grows Suspicious
Seeing how it was just the first anniversary of Nathan’s death, Maxie might not be ready to move on yet, but it looks like she is making small but noticeable steps. In fact, Obrecht noticed that her daughter-in-law recently decided to take her wedding ring off. GH spoilers relate that when Obrecht asked her if there was someone that she was seeing, Maxie said no and quickly changed the subject.

If that weren’t enough, Obrecht will also notice something that will definitely interest her. She can’t help but see that Maxie has Peter wrapped around her finger as he not only helps her at home, but does whatever she needs. Needless to say, Obrecht will feel the need to take matters into her own hands when she finds out that her daughter-in-law is interested in her late husband’s brother. Maxie might find herself falling in love with Peter, but she will soon learn that there are some things that she simply shouldn’t keep in the family, so to speak.
And while there are some fans that think Maxie and Peter would make an interesting couple, others are worried that the beautiful blonde might be setting herself up for trouble. Right now it looks like Peter’s intentions are wholesome, but as many daytime television fans know, anything can happen at anytime in Port Charles. Fans will simply have to tune in to find out what will happen next!
