‘General Hospital’ spoilers relate that Port Charles is a kind of tense place these days, and quite a bit of it has to deal with Ava Jerome (Maura West). Also, Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) well-meaning advice may backfire worse than a similar situation on their NBC counterpart. Let’s start with the biggest drama: Ava and the murder cases.

    ‘General Hospital’ Recap: Pressure’s on

Ava continues to be desperate to find her daughter’s murderer, and she’s willing to go a little outside the box. She approaches Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) and begs her to help. Seems Ava remembers her having certain gifts and wonders if Olivia work a little magic by intuiting who the killer is. Olivia is clearly uncomfortable and tries to tell Ava it was more a charity act thing, and she hasn’t had any visions in a while. Ava doesn’t care and keeps pushing, so Olivia agrees to take the picture of Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) Ava offers. She doesn’t come up with any insights, though, and Ava is upset. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard), who was meeting with Brick (Stephen A. Smith) to try finding Dante, breaks things up.

Once Ava leaves, Olivia admits to being worried about Dante Falconeri and says he is the one who should be guarding Lulu Falconeri’s (Emme Rylan) room. When Brick doesn’t come back with any helpful info later, Sonny thinks he has an idea.

Meanwhile, Laura Webber (Genie Francis) has overheard there’s a potential suspect in the case (and we made a slight misstep, implying Curtis was there yesterday while the new lead was found without mentioning Harrison Chase, played by Josh Swickard). She doesn’t get much time to dwell on that, because Ava shows up wanting to see Lulu. Lulu asks Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) to let her in. Ava immediately starts on Lulu about what she might remember and showing off Kiki’s picture. It gets pretty heated, and Laura is not having it. She demands Ava be taken from the room and then follows her out to get Ava a piece of her mind. While she’s sympathetic to Ava’s situation and wants to catch the killer, she tells Ava that pushing Lulu that hard could send her back to ICU and that isn’t going to help anyone.

Later on, Lulu, still determined as ever, asks for Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) to use other methods. Jordan suggests a hypnosis session, and Lulu’s all in.

GH Spoilers: Good advice goes bad…

Carly has a talk with Drew Cain today about his relationship with Kim Nero (Tamara Braun). She’s really happy about them forming a closer bond and thinks it’s a great thing. Drew takes this to heart and heads to her place. Unfortunately for him, Ava’s earlier words to Julian Jerome (William DeVry) had an impact. Julian had come over to clear the air more and they’re giving things another try. Looks like Drew’s out of luck right now.

General Hospital Spoilers: Not-Kevin lucking out?

Seems Not-Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) must be on someone’s good side somehow. After finding Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) name on the murdered producer’s script, he’s now a suspect. Jordan drops by Not-Kevin’s office to ask about him. To Not-Kevin’s credit, he doesn’t jump to hand over any details, implying that Jordan would need to return with an order, and then she’ll probably still be out of luck. Jordan promises to be in touch.

Later on, at Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) urging, Franco drops by Not-Kevin’s office to ask for his help. Things are starting to fall apart for Franco again, and Not-Kevin agrees that seeing him again is a good idea. And we’re just picturing all the interesting things that will be in those records when Jordan comes back…
