Zayn Malik had reportedly gotten himself into a fiery exchange at a bar in New York.
Zayn Malik Involved In A Fiery Altercation
The former member of One Direction has been keeping himself away from the spotlight ever since his high profile departure from the band. While he has succeeded in doing that somewhat, in comparison to the other stars such as Harry Styles, this incident is sure to throw him back into the limelight-albeit for the wrong reasons.
According to TMZ, Zayn got into an exchange after a man had allegedly made some homophobic comments towards the singer. And as you can imagine, he did not take to them very well. Zayn was seen without his shirt on, and by all accounts, he was ready to engage in a fight. The singer responded with: “Who the f—k said anything to you?”
But that was the end of the dispute, as both parties were separated with neither an attack taking place nor the involvement of any police. And yet, for all of Zayn’s passion in standing up for himself, he will need to be more careful over how he conducts himself in the spotlight. This is especially true given that he has recently become a father to his newborn daughter Khai.
Zayn and his girlfriend Gigi Hadid have been very vocal about the happiness they felt at the birth of the baby. And given Gigi’s comments on the Israeli/Palestine attacks, Zayn will need to divert any spotlight away from the family to focus on their child. In a prior interview with iHeartRadio’s Valentine, Zayn stated how he was in awe of his daughter.
He said: “She’s an amazing baby. It’s been really easy for me and Gig to kind of just ease into it. She kind of made it easy for us. She sleeps really well. She loves her milk. It’s just feeding and changing diapers at the moment. It’s wicked.”
It was just as well that Zayn did not end up doing something that he would live to regret. The last thing he needs is to get involved in an altercation that could get the police involved. His primary focus should be his daughter, and this incident will only go on to reinforce that.
