Police believe that Corey Struve, a well-known YouTube parent and influencer who frequently posts about her family, was not in a family-friendly mood this weekend, but she insists that she was the one who was physically assaulted.
The 37-year-old, who is best known as one half of the YouTube duo Trav and Cor, was detained on Sunday near Pebble Beach, California, on suspicion of a number of offenses, including public intoxication, trespassing, resisting arrest, and battery on an officer, according to the Monterey County Sheriff’s Department.
In order to celebrate her birthday, according to law enforcement sources, Corey was drinking at a pub close to the golf course. As a result, she allegedly became aggressive and was eventually asked to return to her hotel by security. There, she was a guest in a hotel.

Police said that when she refused to return to her room, they were contacted and warned her that if she didn’t run, she would be jailed. She allegedly continued to refuse to leave and eventually kicked one of the arresting policemen. Whatever happened, Struve’s mug shot makes it clear that she wasn’t pleased.
Additionally, a source tells us that during the arrest, the officers really roughed up Struve, who claims to have had injuries to her shoulder, arm, and face during the event.
Scott Erdbacher, her lawyer says, “I am concerned about how much aggression was used against my client while she was handcuffed. My concern at this point is about Corey’s well being and her injuries are currently being catalogued by a medical specialist including head to toe bruising, numbness and loss of mobility to her left arm.”
