‘Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, June 5 find Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) making a deal with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) recommitment ceremony doesn’t go as they expected, while Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) has a big question for Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle).

It begins at Society, where Billy tells Adam that he’s not invited to his recommitment ceremony with Victoria. Adam says that it’s Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) that let him down, not Victoria. After a few tense words, Adam congratulates him before leaving.

At the Athletic Club, Summer Newman (Hunter King) spent the night with her new love interest, influencer Theo Vanderwall (Tyler Johnson). He praises her on a job well done last night. She does the same. Summer says that she has plans for them today.
At Nick’s place, he, Victoria, Nikki (Melody Scott Thomas) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) are there. Abby tells her mother that she’s worried about Victor’s health. Nikki promises her that she will get to the bottom of it. Abby then tells the rest of her siblings that they are lucky to have one another.
At the tackhouse, Phyllis tells Adam that she doesn’t think his plan will work. Adam says that he doesn’t want to hurt Nick. He has plans beyond Dark Horse. She then mentions how this is a way of getting Christian and she thinks it’s low. Adam feels as though it will be a wake up call. He then tells her that the Abbotts and Newmans will always treat them like they are pariahs. Adam says they need to teach them a lesson. Phyllis is intrigued.

Billy and Victoria are having their recommitment ceremony at Society. Everyone is there. Nick is holding Christian and tells him that he will be his best man, should he ever get married again. Everyone gasps as Adam and Phyllis enter together. Billy takes Phyllis to the side and Victoria tells Adam that his stunt might ruin her big day. Summer can’t help but wonder why Adam is with her mom.
Phyllis says that she’s been betrayed more times then she can count. Victor tells Adam that this is like a spit to his face. Nick orders Adam out. Insults fly. Phyllis snarls at her daughter about siding with the Abbotts after Kyle dumped her. After exchanging words with Nick, Phyllis walks out.
In the kitchen, Kyle sneaks a kiss with Lola. Despite all of the drama outside, he tells her that he wants to marry her. Back at the tackhouse, Phyllis tells Adam that she’s all in with their plan.
