CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that just when the show grew accustomed to the current tempo and storylines, they up the ante just a little more.

Will it be in a good way? That depends and we’ll happily hold out judgement until later. Especially considering Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is the most despised man in Genoa City at the moment.

That’s a reputation that could carry more weight than expected when Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) is digging into Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz)’s past.

There’s a couple of skeletons there, but it may not matter if they’re Chance or Adam’s in Paul’s mind. Especially if Chance doesn’t come off as feeling guilty and is too bold.

Speaking of feeling guilty, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) is still struggling with the aftereffects of her and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic)’s slip and slide incident.

Honestly, she should, but ‘Young and the Restless’ are more curious as to how far she’ll go and how much suffering they’ll have to endure before she breaks and spills the news.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For October 13: Past becomes the present

Paul is arguably the best investigator in Genoa City as he rarely leaves a stone unturned, especially when it comes to new hires in the police department.

Chance has been sweating this meeting for a couple of weeks now, but it looks like he’s been open and honest with Paul and that might help him.

The question then will probably come down to how Chance acts when they meet. If he’s too confident and not showing enough remorse, Paul may kick him to the curb then and there.

He may also report his findings to the authorities, which will create a crap storm as the blowback from the Adam story will continue to give.

Maybe Paul will want to know the details before hiring Chance, but will Chance give in and doom Adam?

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For October 13: Guilt trip

Elena’s been wearing out the hardwood and carpeting with her pacing, not to mention her fingers if she chews her nails.

And all because she felt so threatened by a thought and a following dream that she had to hope on the Nate Express.

The weight of her guilt is clearly weighing on her and even Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) has noticed a change in her lately.

‘Young and the Restless’ expect her to continue to bend under the pressure, and we expect her to start unraveling before too long. But she’ll try to hide it every step of the way.

Will Paul hire Chance? Let us know your thoughts below, and check back with ‘Young and the Restless’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around. Don’t forget to visit TVRocker for all of the latest exciting news on all of your favorite daytime television soaps.
