‘Young and the Restless’ spoilers say that the cast and crew seem to still be throwing Mal Young under the bus. There was earlier speculation that many people behind the scenes weren’t happy with the way Mal was running the show. Now that he’s gone, everyone seems to be letting out a huge sigh of relief.

As a matter of fact, Eric Braeden (Victor Newman) couldn’t help but retweet some of the opinions on Twitter that he seems to agree with. One of them was, “@EBraedenWith @malyounggone the show is already improving. There’s more miles to go but it’s getting better. We need more of Victor driving the storylines. Still I’m happy with the show lately. I wasn’t before , believe me.”

Eric didn’t make any additional comments, however, he did reply to the tweet with, “Much appreciated!”

It seems like The Young and the Restless fans are doing all of the talking for the cast and crew. Quite a few other fans wrote to Eric and said, “I totally agree!! The storyline is getting sooooo much better. I have always loved Y&R. I started watching it with my mom when I was young. Love Victor !!!!” along with, “Victor, Victor, we need more Victor! YES! YES! YES!”

As far as Mal Young is concerned, the former head writer and executive producer decided to leave The Young and the Restless because according to him, two years is enough for him to be on one show. With that being said, Mal didn’t specify if he would be willing to return to The Young and the Restless or daytime television for that matter. But at this point it’s safe to say that the cast and crew of the highly-rated soap have definitely moved on. With the veterans back on board, even the fans are happy to see how things are progressing once again.
