‘Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) was able to escape from the hold of Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) after being able to shimmy a door open with part of a metal bed frame. She was able to make it back to Chloe Fisher’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson).
This begs the question if she made it out alive, was she the one to try to shoot Adam? She could have found the gun and the black clothing in the same building she was locked away in. After shooting Chance though, she would notably be worried and scared once she returned to Chloe’s, let alone after being locked up!

‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Did Chelsea Try To Shoot Adam? – Hides & Waits For Chloe
I’m starting to like this idea more than the Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) idea. I think it’d make for an interesting storyline if Faith was the shooter, but I don’t see how it make sense. I think Chelsea as the shooter makes a lot more sense and makes sense for her to be in that situation, especially since she was locked away in that very building.
Hopefully, Chance is going to make it through! He has a lot of life left with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and him dying or getting terribly injured because of Adam would just tear our hearts out.
