It looks like it’s going to be a very long time – or at least another couple of Christmases – before Prince William and Prince Harry will sit at the same dinner table and break bread again.
There’s a new report that says the relationship between the two brothers remains “poor” even though the entire world seems to hang on to the hope that things will go back to the way things were, pre-Megxit. Here’s what you need to know.
Yes, Prince Harry And Prince William’s Relationship Is Still Dead
Royal author Robert Lacey, who wrote the book “Battle of Brothers: William, Harry and the Inside Story of a Family in Tumult,” says that he was recently at a party hosted by Prince William to celebrate the long-awaited sculpture of Princess Diana on the grounds of Kensington Garden. And from what he gathered at the party, things are still as icy as they can be between Harry and William.
“I’ve spoken to two people from that party and it was quite clear from things he said that his anger towards Harry remains,” Lacey revealed.
“He remains unhappy about what his brother has done. There is no immediate possibility of any reconciliation. I mean, it’s not wanted on either side. Too many bitter things have been said.”
He also added that things got very bad between William and Harry when the Duke of Cambridge supposedly discovered that his wife Meghan Markle had allegedly bullied members of his royal staff at Buckingham Palace.
“I am told by the person to whom William described this, that William physically went round to discover Harry on the Kensington campus and they had a face-to-face showdown,” Lacey said. “It ended with William saying, ‘Well, I don’t want you in my household anymore.”
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the report.
