It has been a busy couple of weeks in the world of WWE with a lot of things happening on every show. Viewers were treated to a stellar SummerSlam just a few weeks ago, before Payback was enough excellent instalment. There are a lot of interesting aspects appearing on television at present, with Roman Reigns and his alignment with Paul Heyman being one of the most eye-catching.

Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre’s feud kicked up a gear on Raw this past week too, as McIntyre handed out a ruthless beat down on the Viper to gain revenge for the attack that he sustained that left him in hospital. However, could two superstars that are reportedly in hospital at present be the favourites for the two Royal Rumble matches in January?

WWE News: Sasha Banks To Win The Royal Rumble

The story between Sasha Banks and Bayley has been one of the most interesting for months now, with viewers knowing what the potential end goal was. That finally happened, as Bayley finally turned on Banks after the two lost their tag team championships. It was a brutal destruction of the boss, and is certainly an indicator of the pattern that could be followed as their story progresses.

It was a matter of when and not if the break up happened, and all the attention will now be on when the two superstars will go head-to-head in the ring. There is a strong feeling that Banks could be kept off television for an extended period before she goes on to win the Rumble to set up with a main event worthy title match against Bayley at WrestleMania.

WWE News: Big E Potentially Winning Men’s Royal Rumble

Big E was another superstar that was laid out last week, as Sheamus brutally attacked the New Day member. Big E’s stock has always been high within WWE and there is no question that he will finally get his opportunity at the biggest titles at some point. But, with Reigns looking on a different level, could this indicate that we could be set for Reigns against Big E at WrestleMania next year?

It would certainly be a huge match, and a career defining one for Big E. The rub he would get from just sharing the ring with the Big Dog at Mania would ensure his place as one of the elite names in the company, and that is precisely what Big E deserves.
