According to TMZ, an individual accused of taking Lady Gaga’s French bulldogs is now suing the artist for not fulfilling the $500,000 reward she had promised.
Woman Accused Of Stealing Lady Gaga’s Dogs Sues The Star
Reportedly, Jennifer McBride stated that Gaga, aged 36, firmly declared that she would provide a large amount of money without any queries if her canines were brought back securely.
In February 2021, the vocalist made an announcement regarding a reward after her pedigreed canines, Koji and Gustav, were taken away from her pet walker at gunpoint. Reportedly, McBride stated that she brought the dogs back to Gaga at the LAPD Olympic Community station on February 26th, 2021, which was only two days after their abduction.
Later, McBride was accused of being involved in the robbery, with accusations of having possession of stolen goods and being complicit in the offense. It is said that she had a relationship with the father of one of the men accused of attacking Gaga’s pet attendant, Ryan Fischer.
McBride ultimately entered a plea of no contest to one charge of possessing stolen property and was sentenced to two years of probation. As per TMZ, McBride is asking for more than $500,000 and looking for $1.5 million in reparations from Gaga for purportedly publishing the inaccurate reward.
Gaga has yet to respond to this which is understandable due to the negative media scrutiny that would emerge. But that did not stop the public from having their say on the matter. One person wrote: “This lady sucks but the $500k reward was meant to get the dogs back from whoever stole the dogs in the first place.
“The woman should be punished for her crime but she should also receive the money.” We will have to see how this will all play out moving forward in the future. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this?
