    Will There Be A Third Season For Korean Zombie Series, Kingdom?

    Netflix has not confirmed that a third season will be streaming, but thanks to some Korean news sites, they are saying that a third season may, in fact, hit our screens soon. News has gotten to us from these Korean sites that Jun Ji Hyun, a South Korean actress, will be gracing our screens in Kingdom season 2:

    The agency representing the actress, Culture Depot commented about her taking part in the new series saying  ” It is true that Jun Ji Hyun took part in filming for ‘Kingdom’ season two. However, we cannot mention anything about the drama itself. We ask for your understanding.”

    Will There Be A Third Season For Korean Zombie Series, Kingdom?

    When asked if a third season will happen, the agency replied:

    “The production has not been confirmed, but if it is confirmed and we are given an offer, we will positively review it.”

    Another news source has spilled more. All K Pop’s article about Jun Ji Hyun taking a role in the series has confirmed that we might be watching a third season. The news site stated that Netflix tried hard to keep her casting a “secret”.

    While we don’t know yet the role she will be playing,  All K Pop states that she would play an important role as season 2 wraps up and that character will become a lead role going into season 3. Did Netflix Always Have a third season always in mind? Netflix planned a limited series for the zombie drama.

    After deciding that the zombie story should be split in half, a lot of viewers though they wont be getting a season 3.

    After deciding to split the story in half, many people thought that there would never be a third season. But if you think about the overwhelming popularity Kingdom has gained since its release, you would realize that streaming giant, would want to release more of the series for the best zombie drama on television ever. We will let you know if Netflix confirms that Kingdom has been renewed for a third season.
