Jada Pinkett Smith was adamant that her husband Will Smith was going to go to India, despite his recent Oscars incident involving Chris Rock.
Will Smith Had No Choice But To Go To India-‘Jada Insisted’
Ever since the incident had happened, Will has been heavily condemned as a result of lashing out. But rather than keeping a low profile, Will was pictured in Mumbai mingling with his fans and taking selfies. And as part of that process, he looked to be in very good spirits as he was seen smiling as shown in this picture.
But given that the holiday was planned anyway, there was no reason why the plans had to change. A source said: “Will and Jada have taken the family on [a] vacation that was already planned. There had been talk of canceling [the trip] but Jada insisted.”
This is entirely understandable for the following reasons. First of all, it will provide Will with some much-needed time in order to focus on where he goes from here. After all, with so much uncertainty surrounding when his next project will appear, getting a break could be exactly the thing he needs.
Secondly, if the trip was canceled which then resulted in this becoming leaked to the press, it could have created more controversy. It may have been seen as tension brewing between Will and Jada, whose marriage in the past has already been called into question by Jada’s infidelity.
The fans on social media were mocking Will over this decision. People were of the view that Jada was the one who wore the trousers in the relationship and therefore had the final say over what Will should do.
After all, as seen at the Oscars, as soon as Jada looked unpleased that is when Will decided to react after initially laughing at Chris’ joke. One person wrote: “I know damn well Jada sent Will Smith to India.”
